Acril-Fix D 3.1

Coloured acrylic-methacrylate resin.

Coloured single-component methacrylic resin, solvent-based, resistant to alkalis, ageing and weathering, for sealing and anti-carbonation protection of concrete supports. It is tolerant with the moisture of the support to be coated.

Characteristics

  • ACRIL-FIX D 3.1 protects the surfaces of environmental exposure by colouring it and without varying its permeability to water vapour.
  • Facilitates surface cleaning.
  • High adhesion power.
  • Easily applicable.
  • Excellent adhesion even on supports with a certain presence of moisture.

Uses

  • Anti-carbonation protection in floating concretes.
  • Sealing of concretes for road traffic.
  • Anti-carbonation protection in civil works.
  • Curing fluid for concretes.

Consumption

  • The formation of a continuous, pore-free layer should be ensured.
  • To ensure a total coating of the support, two coats of product should be applied, with a consumption of approximately 200 g/m2.

Available formats

  • It is supplied in liquid form in a single component. 20 kg metal tub.

Application

  • Surfaces should be clean, free of oils, greases and loose material.
  • Surface treatment by blasting, sanding or roughing may be necessary.
  • The product is presented ready for use.
  • It can be applied with brush, roller or rubber scraper.
  • Mix well in the container before application.
